2026 Fall New arrival Louis Vuitton Multipass bag Review: A New Everyday Bag Worth Watching?
The Louis Vuitton Multipass didn’t immediately look like an obvious must-have to me.
Compared with classics like the Speedy or Alma, the shape feels softer and less familiar. The body naturally slouches, while the braided gold-tone chain adds a slightly dressier touch. But the more I looked at it, the more interesting it became.
For Fall 2026, Louis Vuitton has expanded the Multipass line with new leather versions and the smaller Multipass Mini, making this bag feel more important than just a one-season release.

What makes the Multipass different?
The regular Multipass measures 11.8 x 10.2 x 3.9 inches, while the Mini is much smaller at 6.9 x 7.1 x 3.7 inches.
The biggest appeal is the relaxed shape. This isn’t a structured tote that always keeps the same silhouette. The body folds and softens naturally, giving it more of a casual hobo-bag feel.
Personally, I think the Multipass actually looks better when it slouches. Some owners online also mentioned that the bag became softer and more attractive after regular use.

Monogram or leather?
The classic Monogram version is probably the safest choice. It looks unmistakably Louis Vuitton and costs less than the leather versions.
Still, I keep coming back to the leather Multipass.
The calfskin versions feel quieter and more modern, especially in darker colors. The Monogram details are still there, but they don’t dominate the entire design.
If I were buying one myself, I would probably choose leather even though it is more expensive.

Is it practical enough for everyday use?
The regular Multipass is surprisingly useful.
Louis Vuitton says it can hold an 11-inch tablet, smartphone, wallet, notebook, sunglasses, and other daily essentials. The Mini, on the other hand, is better suited to a phone, compact wallet, keys, and lipstick.
There are also several ways to carry it. You get a top handle, removable braided chain, and adjustable shoulder strap, so the bag can work as a handbag, shoulder bag, or crossbody.
One downside is the interior organization. Owners have mentioned the lack of useful internal compartments, and adding a structured organizer could reduce the natural slouch that makes the bag attractive in the first place.

How much is the Louis Vuitton Multipass?
As of August 2026, US Louis Vuitton prices are:
- Multipass Mini Monogram: $2,230
- Multipass Mini leather: $2,480
- Multipass Monogram: $2,850
- Full-size leather versions: up to $3,350
So the current Multipass range runs from about $2,230 to $3,350 before tax.
The regular Monogram probably offers the best balance between price, capacity, and recognizable Louis Vuitton style. The leather version is harder to justify financially… but visually, it is still the one I prefer.

What are owners saying?
Online reactions are generally positive about the size, versatility, and relaxed shape.
Some owners like how the bag becomes softer over time, while others worry about the folded corners and long-term wear. There are also mixed opinions about wearing it crossbody, since pressing the bag against the body can change its shape.
That makes sense to me. The Multipass works best if you actually like bags that look soft and slightly imperfect.

Final thoughts
The Louis Vuitton Multipass isn’t the kind of bag that impressed me immediately.
But maybe that is part of its charm.
It feels more relaxed than many traditional Louis Vuitton bags, offers several carrying options, and has enough space to be genuinely useful. I would still want to see how the corners age over time, and the lack of interior organization is a little disappointing.
Still, among Louis Vuitton’s newer bags, this is one I keep looking at.
The Monogram version is the sensible choice.
The leather one? That’s probably the one I would actually want.
